A warm welcome to Richard Lee Primary School – a place where everyone can ‘be the best they can be’?It is important to us that our children feel happy and secure so that they can enjoy, learn, achieve and make good progress. We seek to offer them as many opportunities to find and explore their talents, interests and to contribute to our school community. We have a highly professional and dedicated staff team?who seek to work in partnership with our families so that children thrive. In July 2015 we will be moving into our brand new school building! It will be a building fit for the 21st century •wonderful classrooms with adjoining activity spaces and group rooms for learning •state of the art LED screens in each classroom • a studio for drama, music and - in the future - a radio station; • a technology enquiry room with a high level use of mobile technologies; • a great hall space for PE, clubs and performances. Our outdoor provision will give us lots of field space to use in allsorts of ways, including allotment areas. The woodland spinney running along the school border will allow us to develop our Forest School work. The Richard Lee Childrens Centre will be part of our school building and as such we will be able to optimise the use of our shared spaces and become a family hub’ of activity. We will continue to operate our out of school provision, before and after school via the Kids Club’. We are a busy and friendly school, with lots going on.
